6. Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with 3+ years of experience to support the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects and exposure to construction or project management. The role includes technical design support, site supervision, quality control, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams across private sector projects.
6.1 Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the design and detailing of civil infrastructure (roads, stormwater, water, sewer) and experience with residential housing projects.
Conduct site inspections, quality control, and construction supervision under guidance.
Prepare engineering reports, drawings, and specifications.
Support project planning, including scheduling, budgeting, and progress monitoring.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities for approvals and compliance.
Contribute to tender documentation and contractor evaluations.
Ensure adherence to relevant SANS standards, health & safety, and regulatory frameworks.
6.2 Minimum Requirements:
